Can I bring my pets with me to Canada?

You may bring your pet (dog or cat) into Canada as long as you have pre-arranged space with San Juan Airlines. San Juan Airlines reserves the right to refuse transport to any animals. Dogs over 25 but less than 50 lbs will be charged 25% of the one way passenger fare. Dogs over 50 lbs but less than 75 lbs will be charged 50% of the one way passenger fare. Dogs over 75 lbs will be charged a full one way fare. Cats may be denied in the event another passenger on board is allergic to felines.

Can we bring our household pets?

For Echo Bay, Lake Mead Marina or Temple Bar, you may bring your household pets (dogs, cats, birds and turtles, etc.) on your vacation. Please note there is a $50 refundable deposit for pets in lodge rooms and an additional $10 room charge per pet. At Callville Bay, pets are not allowed.

WHAT MAY I BRING TO CANADA?

You may bring your possessions with you into Canada. You may be charged a customs tax for items which have a resellable value (computers etc..) and you will have to pay a tax and registration fee if you plan on bringing your car. Otherwise you should contact CIC Customs for more information.
