Every web browser allows users to configure their security preference for dealing with cookies. Most browsers allow advanced users to customize their cookie settings at a very detailed level. For AFF to work properly, make sure that you allow per-session cookies. In Internet Explorer Select Cookies -> Allow per-session cookies (not stored) and choose either Enable or Prompt. Either option will enable the per-session cookie feature that AFF requires to operate properly.

In the Control Panel of CL Server on the tab 'Internet Explorer and MSN Messenger settings', you can configure the settings of IE and MSN for client workstations. The rest of the security options are located on the tab 'CL Client settings'. Note: Security settings in Cyberleader apply only to client workstations and do not affect the computer where CL Server is installed.

Presentations require very minimal security and, in fact, default browser security settings are always acceptable. Specifically, the following access is required in each browser: Global security settings of "Medium", "Medium-Low", and "Low" all work completely. A security setting of "High" does not work. Run Active X control and plug-ins" must be "Enabled" or on "Prompt". If not, the Media Player will not draw.

In the Advanced Settings window, select Override automatic cookie handling, the Accept radio buttons under First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies, and Always allows session cookies. Then click the OK button. The settings above enable the site to operate correctly. If you are using a different browser, look for similar instructions from the browser's vendor.

If you have Norton Internet Security, Zone Alarm Pro, another firewall or any ad, cookie or popup blocking software then it could be that they are affecting the retailer links on eCashback, or in our newsletter, meaning that the links either do not work correctly or your cash back purchases are not tracked. You need to disable the cookie/ad/popup blocking features of these programs. It is important to keep any anti-virus software enabled and this will not affect the tracking of your cash back.

MARVEL! works best with more recent versions of web browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape and Mac's Safari). With Netscape 4.7, your display will be similar to a text-only browser like Lynx. You will not see all of the graphics or images but still have full access to all the text in a linear format. The only setting that you must configure for the chat server to run is Application("ScriptPath"). This setting must match the virtual directory where you installed the chat server files.
