The Sourceforge system contains a patch-manager which contains patches that have not yet been applied to the distribution. This can be accessed by first accessing the Sourceforge web site and search for PDL. This will show you the project page for PDL and will give you access to the Patch manager. In addition, if you are not subscribing to the mailinglist, check the archive of the pdl-porters and perldl mailing lists.

This can be checked by looking in the registry path: "[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MULTUM\SERVICE\[version]]". There should be a string value that says "Patch03", and the patch application date.

Directories in CVS are not version controlled. Consistently passing the '-P' option to checkout, for instance in your .cvsrc file, is a workaround for this. ~ It is possible to version control at the directory level in CVS. Not really. There's some buggy and disabled code (search for PRESERVE_PERMISSIONS in the mailing list archives) which you might try and fix if you were motivated. The usual suggested workaround is to make creation of links part of your build process (in a script or Makefile or the like) and version the files that create them. Create a tag based on the date, you could also create a remote tag if you want the rest of the world to know about it. The -D can be any date format that CVS will reconize.

Usually the reason for this is that one of the developers made a change to the code that requires a clean reconfigure. TFS uses the reverse delta model as most version control systems do. However, there's a few notable things that TFS does. First the creation of the reverse deltas is done asynchronously as a background task. Initially the new copy is uploaded and saved. Sometime later (usually not very long), a background job will run and convert the older version from a full copy to a reverse delta (assuming the delta is actually smaller than the original – usually, but not always the case).

To discard other reception problems, please make sure, (1) if you have enabled a firewall, that it allows the operation of the DVB software and the tc-recv executable. (2) Check the Device Manager in Windows of the DVB card for any malfunctioning. (3) Type "ipconfig" at the DOS prompt to learn of your LAN ip addresses. The address for the PCI adapter should be identical to the interface address written inside the file recv.ini in the client software directory.
