My Ellegante came with a little metal thing called a bobbin case center pin, but I do not understand when I am supposed to use it. The bobbin case center pin is to be used only when using pre-wound bobbins for embroidery.

I would like more information on the Ellegante machines ability to trim jump stitches-when to use this feature and when to turn it off. I have an Ellegante and have saved designs to my USB Mass Storage Device (jump drive or flash drive), but when I put it in my machine I get an error message, "USB media error" or "USB not loaded".

Check with your dealer for a cover-up. It comes in a variety of colors and is used like a water soluble stabilizer on the top of the item you are stitching. However, this is permanent. I prevents the fabric color from showing through.

Yes, it is recommended that you clean under the tension spring of your AMAYA bobbin case every time you change the bobbin. Lint and bobbin wax can build up under the spring, and this can affect bobbin tension. To clean under the spring, slide a corner of a small piece of paper under the tension spring in the same direction the thread travels through it. While cleaning under the tension spring, be careful not to bend the spring.

Are you using a sideless bobbin? It is recommended that you do not use sideless bobbins in your machine(s); sideless bobbins may affect the Out of Bobbin detection system. Review your material thickness settings (remember: one embroidery point is equal to the thickness of one sheet of paper, thus, picture the default thickness of 3 points as 3 layers of paper). If the thread trimmer only trims the bobbin thread, it is only doing half the job. Since the operator must trim the top thread, we feel it is better to simply push the single stitch button on our machine and bring the bobbin thread to the top side, where both top and bobbin threads can be trimmed simultaneously. This method also eliminates the need to go back later and trim all the tags of thread left by all bobbin thread trimmers.

The best way to keep the box clean is with a damp cloth and Q-tip. Use the Q-tip to free the seal of any debris that may compromise the seal.

You can wash your hair and get the area of the scalp wet where the facial graft was harvested. However, do not get the yellow ear donor site or the nose cast wet.

You should follow the CPAP manufacturer’s specifications to clean your CPAP machine. Disposable filters may be replaced every month. Generally, you should clean your mask daily, we recommend you soak the mask in non-lanolin antibacterial soapy water for 10-minutes, rinse and air dry. DO NOT USE ANY ALCOHOL cleaners on the mask! Your humidification system should be emptied each morning and leave it open to air-dry all day. Refill each night with distilled water.

Cleaning Popcorn machines can be done with Mild detergent, Side and back panels are made with tempered glass for safety and ease in cleaning with standard household glass cleaner. You will want to note that you should never submerge a machine in any type of liquid because it has electrical components inside of it that can short out.

The Tassimo machine requires very little maintenance although it is recommended to insert the re-usable cleaning disc (supplied with machine upon purchase) in the machine every seven days. The bar code reader should be cleaned with a damp soft cloth. All of the removable parts are hand washable and all, except the water container, are dishwasher safe.

Make clean-up easier by spraying the kneading paddle (not the bucket) of your machine with nonstick spray coating before adding ingredients. Be sure to soak the paddle and the pan in hot soapy water immediately after removing the baked bread, Always store the paddle back in position in your bucket to avoid losing it.

Any clean rag is quite well for cleaning small amounts of toner out of your printer, plain-paper fax or photocopier. If the amount of toner and paper dust is a little more abundant, use a can of compressed air to try to blow any visible piles of dust and debris out of the machine. Keep in mind that after blowing the debris out of the printer, the next several pages you print out will usually have some of that debris on them. This is natural and will disappear in short order.

Because they are the most important part of peeling equipment, the rollers need special attention when being cleaned. If the rollers are not cleaned properly, the machine simply will lose its peeling power. To clean them, use steam or high pressure water and a scrubbing pad. (Steel wool SHOULD NOT be used, as it would leave debris on the rollers that will contaminate your product.

If you picked up the machine, you need to drain the remaining product, flush the machine with warm water (draining it out of the spout) and wipe it down before you return it. Don't worry about it being spotless. We take care of the sanitizing and polishing back at the warehouse. This suggestion is more for the protection of you and your vehicle than for us. The machine will be extremely heavy if you still have product in it.

Your printer should be cleaned every 1000 cards or at every ribbon change (whichever is sooner) when printing onto normal cards. The printer will prompt you to do so at every 1000 cards by either a flashing LED (P205, P210 & P310) or by an LCD message (P320, P420, P520 & P720). When printing onto self adhesive cards we would recommend that you clean the printer twice as often.
