As with other Dolby Digital components, you connect the Dolby Digital coaxial or optical output to a digital input on your Dolby Digital decoder unit.

In addition to your Sun Group Plasma TV, you will also need to access digital service. In order to view over-the-air (OTA) HDTV broadcasts, you need to be within the reception area of a TV station broadcasting HDTV signals. Your flat panel monitor requires a set-top HDTV tuner and an external antenna to receive the broadcasts. Your cable or satellite provider may also offer HDTV channels as a part of their service, eliminating the need for a separate tuner.

A Set-Top-Box (decoder) and a Smart Card are required to receive E-Vision's digital Cable TV service. The Set-Top-Box is included in basic subscriptions and is provided by E-Vision at no additional cost to the customer.
