This depends on several things - price, power, weight, and, of course, personal taste. My feeling is that combos are good up to about 300 watts or so. Beyond that, they get to be too heavy to lug around, and too bulky to fit in the trunk - or even the back seat - of the average automobile (I'm assuming, of course, that you will be lugging your own gear around all by yourself).

Technically, "amp" is short for amplifier - the electronics that amplify the guitar (or other) signal to the point it can drive speakers at useful levels (where "useful is in the ear and mind of the hearer 8^). Cab is short for cabinet, which is a box containing the amp, speakers, or both. The extension cabinet is more efficient than the combo cabinet because there is no chassis mounted inside. Therefore the extension cabinet has a slightly wider frequency range (more bass and treble) and is slightly louder. You cannot play a Hold after Clutch + Apply Illegal Leverage. Illegal Leverage takes the wording of its previous submission and in this case that's the Clutch. And the Clutch says you can't put a Hold after it. Can Clean Break reverse Clutch while overturning? A: No. Clean Break reverses these cards as it would reverse a Jockeying For Position: namely, only from the hand.
