with any other cancer, prostate cancer is characterized by grade and stage. Over 90 % of prostate cancers are known as adenocarcinomas or cancer of glands. The grade of a cancer is indicative of a cancer’s aggressiveness. The higher the grade the faster is the cell growth and the greater the risk for spread beyond the organ where the tumor starts. Prostate cancer is graded on the basis of the Gleason scoring system.

The Gleason System is used in grading prostate cancer. If your diagnostic tests and other examinations reveal a malignant tumor, your physician may use the Gleason grading system to help describe the appearance of the cancerous prostate tissue. In order to do this, a pathologist will look at the biopsied prostate tissue under a microscope. He or she will examine the way that the cancerous cells look compared to normal prostate cells.

With “high risk” prostate cancer, it is unlikely that the cancer can be cured by surgery or radiation alone. Options would include something as conservative as intermittent or continuous hormonal therapy or aggressive treatment with combinations of surgery, radiotherapy, hormonal therapy and/or chemotherapy.

Gleason spiral bevel cutter numbers are usually specified with a combination such as #9 - 20 and a point width. In this example, #9 - 20 indicates that the cutter's nominal Pressure Angle is 20 Degrees. The "#9" indicates the equal but opposite deviation of both Inboard (IB) and Outboard (OB) cutter angles from the nominal 20 Degrees. If we consider a #0 - 20 cutter, the differences between each IB / OB angle and the nominal PA would be 0, so that IB and OB angles would both be 20 Degrees.

The Session score, displayed at the bottom of the button bar, shows how many questions you answered correctly, without assistance, the first time they were presented in the current login session. Please note that the Session score only changes the first time you answer a particular question in a session. Subsequent responses leave the Session score unchanged.

BMI stands for Body Mass Index, it provides an indication of how healthy your weight is and is a system commonly used by doctors. A BMI score is calculated from your weight and height, typically a healthy BMI score ranges anywhere between 18.5 and 25. A score below 18.5 is classed as underweight, where as a score above 25 is classed as overweight and a score over 30 as obese. WeighIn.net uses a BMI score of 22 in order to calculate your ideal weight.

The George Score is automatically calculated when you enter bills and get hits. The more bills you enter, and more importantly, the more hits you get, the higher your George Score. They aren't worth anything, and you won't get any prizes. It is solely for the enjoyment by some users that like to compare themselves with each other. In order to streamline the decision making process, the lending industry has developed a system which scores the borrower's credit history. The score is seen as predictive of the borrower's ability and willingness to repay the loan. Such scoring gives the lender the ability to give the borrower a rapid credit decision by using automated underwriting software currently available.

SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is a nonprofit association comprised of 11,500 and growing volunteer business counselors throughout the U.S. and its territories. There are about 400 SCORE chapters in urban, suburban and rural communities. SCORE members are trained to serve as counselors, advisors and mentors to aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners. It is arrived at by multiplying the Option’s rating for each Attribute by the Weighting for that attribute and summing across all the attributes.
