CPVC can be used on both hot and cold lines, while PVC is for cold water only. PVC is frequently used as a drainpipe.

CPVC solvent cement can be used on CPVC and PVC pipe. PVC solvent cement can only be used on PVC pipe. PVC stands for poly vinyl chloride. CPVC stand for Chlorinated poly vinyl chloride. CPVC is harder, stronger pipe. It requires a stronger solvent cement than PVC pipe. CPVC solvent cement is strong enough to bond CPVC pipe and fittings, so it is strong enough to bond PVC pipe and fittings as well.

The original reasons for a) specifying pipe by the inside diameter and b) why the "nominal size" bears no relation to the actual dimensions have been lost to history. A benefit of CPVC pipe is that numerous, inexpensive choices of cutting tools are available to the installer. CPVC piping has for years been cut by fine-tooth saws. The preferred method is the circular tubing cutter, modified with a plastic cutting blade. This cutter assures a square, clean cut each time and is extermely efficient in terms of labor. alternative method is the ratchet cutter.

Astral CPVC has a flash ignition temperature of 900?F which is the lowest temperature at which sufficient combustion gas is evolved that can be ignited by a small external flame. Many other ordinary combustibles, such as wood, ignite at 500?F or less. Astral CPVC will not sustain burning. It must be forced to burn due to its very high Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) of 60. LOI is the percentage of oxygen needed in an atmosphere to support combustion.

You can easily join Astral Aquarius PVC pipe (Iron Pipe Size) with Astral Flow Guard CPVC pipe (CTS) with suitable Transition fittings. Lauricare and Lauricare Plus teat dips are shipped in the concentrate form in 4.5 gallon and 15 gallon sizes. The concentrate is diluted with 3 parts water to 1 part concentrate. The 4.5 gallon pail makes 18 gallons of ready-to-use (RTU) teat dip. The 15 gallon drum makes 60 gallons of RTU teat dip.

Woodlands Plaid is subtle light medium green and navy with maroon and gold highlights. Woodlands Plaid is available in Picnic and Large Picnic, with navy lining. Hudson is a traditional plaid, in deep, rich red and black with soft blue highlights. Hudson Plaid is available in Picnic and Large Picnic, with navy lining. There are 5 bedrooms, each with a double bed. The waterfront bedroom has a bunk bed (double bed on top and bottom). There is therefore room to sleep 12 people on the beds. The living room couch pulls out into a double bed. The nearby trailer has another 2 double beds to sleep 4 more adults. There is a 16' canoe (plus paddles, life jackets, bailer, etc.) available for your use. The outdoor shed has a number of plastic beach toys (ie. pail shovel, etc.) for the under 3 yr. old set.
