Wipe down the running belt, deck, motor cover, and console casing with a damp cloth. Never use solvents, as they can cause damage to the treadmill. Make sure the power cord is not underneath the treadmill or in any other area where it can become pinched or cut. Check the tension and alignment of the running belt. Make sure that the treadmill belt will not damage any other components on the treadmill by being misaligned.

A properly installed metal roofing system is virtually maintenance free over the life of the roof. All you have to do is occasionally hose it down form the ground. In the winter, snow slides off, eliminating the need to shovel off the excess weight.

Keep the treadmill clean. It is good to wipe down the side rails and the overall unit to keep dust from building up and getting in under the walking belt. If too much dust builds up under the walk belt, over time it will cause friction and wear and tear on the drive motor and electronics, as well as the walk belt and deck. The walk belt must be lubricated every three months with 100% silicone.

Though not required to maintain your warranty, lubricating the pulleys and glide rails annually will keep you unit operating more smoothly. The most important maintenance item is to lubricate the guide rod which runs parallel to the hydraulic cylinder.
