Hot, with occasional showers. June is the beginning of the rainy season in Grand Cayman, but that usually means sunny days with brief tropical showers. There are often thunderstorms over Cuba, but, as in the U.S., it's quite easy to deviate around them. Cuban controllers are very helpful, in allowing deviations. From time-to-time, an early season hurricane or tropical depression generates widespread rain and clouds, but in our experience, conditions have usually been flyable.

Kentucky summers are often hot and humid with temperatures in the 80’s and 90’s and humidity levels up to 95 percent. In the fall and winter, you may experience mild days only to have the temperature drop drastically in a few hours.

Summer weather is highlighted by the persistent tradewinds which occur about 90% of the time. These winds blowing from the northeast provide a cooling breeze accompanied by the occasional shower. The showers that occur tend to be brief and light in nature and confined to the windward, or east, sides of the islands and near the mountains. Daytime temperatures reach well into the 80s and even the lower 90s in some locations, especially the drier leeward sides.

June in Michigan is a lovely month. In the past we've had a scorching heat wave, a year when it never went above 63 degrees F (blame the volcano), two tornadoes (same year, we were evacuated from our rooms twice in two days) with a lightning strike, and 8 other years when the weather was pretty darn near perfect - in the mid 70's to mid 80's, sunny or only mild rain, lows in the high 60's to 70. Bring an umbrella and hope for the best.

Good question- on average, late June is supposed to be 75 F, about 24 C, however, like all forecasts, it's subject to change. For the previous 3 events, we have seen that the evenings are somewhat cooler, the days ranged from very hot and humid, to 4 hours of rain. Pack one of everything, be prepared.

June is our driest month of the summer, daytime temperatures range from the mid 70’s to high 80’s (22-31° C). Evenings cool off to the 40’s, so it’s nice to bring a light jacket or sweater. Daytime temperatures in July and August are consistently in the high 80’s (25-31° C), and nights drop into the 50’s. Expect occasional, light, late afternoon and evening showers (lasting less than 2 hours) in late July and August.

It is impossible to accurately predict but the weather can change fairly quickly. Be sure to bring clothes for wet weather as well as typical summer heat.

Check/replace AA or C size alkaline batteries. Make sure that Nickel-Cadmium batteries are fully charged.

Most of the Caribbean is considered sub-tropical. It is nice all the time! (almost) Average temperatures are usually between 65 and 85 degress fahrenheit for most islands, for most of the year. Tourist "season" generally coincides with winter in the Northerm Hemisphere, from about November to April, but the Caribbean has become a year round vacation stop. The official hurricane season runs from August to November, but August storms are rare.

All applicants and participants must be juniors or seniors at Cal State, with an anticipated graduation date following June of 2007. Federal guidelines prohibit the awarding of stipends to students who have attained a Bachelor's degree.

Our Pacific Coast summer weather is quite mild. June has longer days. July and August are the warmest months. Spring and Fall are usually the windiest months. On Southeast Alaska trips near glaciers expect cool temperatures where wearing hat, gloves and warm jacket are appropriate.

In Nevada, there is a saying: if you don't like the weather, stick around for five minutes and it will change. The Right Step has the following general policy regarding weather conditions: Therapy and riding sessions will be cancelled during high winds, thunderstorms, snow storms and when temperatures are below 20 degrees or above 90 degrees.
