After the soil and many of the microorganisms are removed by detergent action and mechanical agitation, it is time for the disinfectants to take over. Disinfectants are effective on a broad range of microorganisms, but are not effective against spores.

Simple. They remove the urine, feces, and vomit from the carpet, completely and permanently, by consuming the food source . By removing the food source, (urine, feces, vomit) both nature's bacteria, and the genetically engineered bacteria you introduce by injecting, have nothing left to feed on. Right now, there are no disinfectant products registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for use on environmental surfaces that are specifically listed as having the ability to kill SARS-CoV.
