In order to live in student housing you need to be enrolled in a class. Auditing or withdrawing from the class means you are no longer considered a student in the full sense. Therefore it will not be possible for full time interns to audit or withdraw from the program without losing their place in student housing. No refunds for housing will be given as a result of changes in student status related to the internship program. No.
ACC -> Frequently Asked Questions
Federal and state regulations require that students receiving financial aid maintain satisfactory academic progress. One requirement is that each student must complete at least 75 percent of the total cumulative credit hours attempted (e.g., for 50 attempted credit hours, student must complete at least 38). Therefore, withdrawals and failing grades will count against you.
Frequently Asked Questions

You can also refer to the CCA Financial Aid Handbook for more detailed explanation.

The CalGrant is GPA dependent, and you will need to have either your high school or your college GPA submitted to the California Student Aid Commision. The BOG Fee waiver is not based on GPA and will be awarded to any student that qualifys as long as they apply.

The computer system will not automatically pick up a repeated course. When the repeated class has been graded, submit a completed Repeat Form to Enrollment Services. The original grade remains on the record and the lower graded course is marked as a repeated course. The highest grade received will be used to calculate the cumulative grade point average. A course taken or repeated at another institution must be transferred to SLCC before a repeat can be processed.
