The caps of any type of wig - whether made with synthetic or human hair - are made with elastic and elastic eventually wears out. These wig caps will last about eight months to one year if you wear the wig eight hours a day every day. If you wear it only now and then it will last a lot longer. Vacuum wigs last longer because the caps do not stretch out. They can last for two or three years depending on use and care. The ready-made styles are the most common.

The life of your wig will depend on your use and care of it. If handled properly, it should last you 6 months to a year and even longer depending on your handling & use.

All of the full head wigs supplied by Wigs Online have “Average Size” wig caps. The wig caps are adjustable and they have hooks on the inside of the cap at the back, which you can adjust according to your head size. An “Average” size wig will accommodate heads up to the size of 57cms / 22.5 Inches. Now don't despair that it doesn't fit, as everyone's head shapes and sizes are different.

Using a wig cap is mainly a matter of personal preference. Most of our clients, whether they have long or short hair, prefer to use wig caps because it holds the hair in place better and helps to keep the wig cleaner. In some instances, it may also prevent hair breakage due to the wig cap rubbing against the scalp. Wig caps are also quite useful if you have longer hair.

If you want a custom lace front on a standard wig the minimum time for delivery is two weeks, but it might also be more depending on how much work I have at the moment. Wigs without custom hairlines, beards and moustaches can be delivered more or less immediately as long as I have the size and colour you want in stock.

In general, most people find that the skin-like cap looks most like a natural scalp. In cases where a client has no hair, we recommend a monofilament cap, as this allows the client's real scalp to show thru the wig. In most cases, though, it is really a matter of personal preference.

Your extended wear will depend on what adhesives you use, your body chemistry and how your skin responds to the adhesives, and how frequently you wish to re-apply. We stress that it is important for you to be mindful of your hair and scalp condition underneath during extended wear. Most clients achieve a 1-2 week hold with the right adhesive, washing and nurturing their own hair in between applications. If you are bald or have significant hair loss, you are likely to achieve a much longer hold.

Any wig or hairpiece is an accessory. Your lifestyle will dictate this and is a difficult question to answer. If you wear your wig/hairpiece every day then we would strongly recommend that you purchase more than one and alternate. We supply cleaning and conditioning instructions, which will help maintain the wig.

For custom orders - Once you pay for your wig, please allow 4 - 6 weeks for delivery. Once your wig is completed - it will ship via UPS. You will be notified when your wig ships out and you will be required to sign for the package upon delivery. For Stock Wigs - stock wigs ship within 24-48 hours via UPS. You will be required to sign for the package upon delivery.

Insurance coverage for wigs is generally unpredictable. Payment is usually obtained only on appeal after initial claim rejection. The insurance industry views wigs and hairpieces as cosmetic even though many states now exempt them from sales tax as a necessary prosthetic item when hair loss is caused by alopecia areata, chemotherapy or other medical causes.

It depends on the level of usage and activities. If used sensibly, knee replacements should last more than 10 to 15 years. In many patients, it will last their lifetime.

The result may be seen within one week. We do not recommend to use it continuously for more than one month.

Most people get some relief right away if they continue to follow the program-usually in the first two weeks. Many people feel better from the first day. Others take longer because their nutritional depletion is more severe.

It really depends on the blend. A full Virginia will continue to improve, though at an increasingly slow rate, over many decades. Most English style tobaccos can go 20-30 years before they begin to go "over the hill." Balkan styles have a shorter life expectancy. Of course, storage conditions will play a part. It the tobacco is cellared at a constant, cool temperature, it will last longer than if it's stored in higher temperatures, or with lots of temperature variations.
