Poly meaning "many" and "urethane" the classification of the chemical structure. Polyurethane or urethane for short, is used as a solid cast material (bushings). Polyurethane can be as soft as a rubber band or as hard as plastic.

No, there are no manually greased or oiled parts on the DR?. All the bearings are sealed, even in the wheels. You do not have to grease the head, either. With most hand-held trimmers, however, you DO have to grease the head, or you will burn out the bearings.

Yes, the axle needs periodic lubrication. Also would recommend a light coat of WD-40 or similar oil on the cutting surfaces to prevent any rust forming.

We recommend three coats simply because it lasts longer. Three coats will leave your hardwood floors in good shape for at least 10 years barring excessive traffic and zero maintenance. In one component heat cured systems, the polyisocyanate groups are blocked by a blocking agent, therefore, preventing it from reacting with hydroxy! groups of either polyol or moisture.
