Yes. The Coroner will give you the opportunity to comment either formally, by giving sworn evidence, or informally. He will ask you if you have any questions for individual witnesses or about the content of any statement or document which is read out. You will be given the opportunity to add anything you feel might be relevant to the Coroner's understanding of the situation. The Coroner will then assess the evidence and announce publicly, his findings.

To maintain the integrity of the process, it is recommended that a faculty or staff member administer the evaluations, that this person be from the same department as the class being evaluated, and that this person be approved by the faculty's supervisor.

To maintain the integrity of the process, the instructor of the class and students currently enrolled in the class are strictly prohibited from administering the evaluations. The committee also agrees that there is an integrity risk if the person administering the evaluations is a graduate student of the instructor or, similarly, a postdoctoral associate of the instructor. That is, a person whom the instructor can influence professionally.

The most current student course evaluations are available on the university's website, but they may be accessed only from public computers in the library's Reference Department, Periodicals Department, and Bibliographic Instruction Lab, not from computers in the IT computer labs or elsewhere on campus. Hardcopy versions of recent evaluations covering most schools are kept in the library staff office. Please inquire at the Reference Desk.

You can leave your name and phone number with the office, and we will try to contact them to let them know you would like to speak to them. Alternately, if you wish to send them mail or email, you can send it care of the school and we will ensure that they receive it the next time they are in.
