Vanilla is grown mainly in four countries, Madagascar, Indonesia, Mexico and Tahiti. Vanilla is also grown in limited amounts in Costa Rica, India, Uganda and Jamaica.

Vanilla is highly addictive. The active ingredient in vanilla is vanillic acid. Vanillic acid is related to the hormones epinephrine and norepinephrine, both of which stimulate the brain. This chemical relationship explains why vanilla is a potent and addictive stimulant. Although people assume that vanilla is harmless, or even beneficial, companies know otherwise. This is why vanilla is added to ice cream, yogurt, cola, chocolate, pastry, perfume, and even cigarettes.

Gosh, I hope not. I still sleep with teddy bears, and on my fortieth birthday, I wore a plastic tiara the whole day.

According to Deborah and Max, "Pure vanilla extract is legal - that is, vanilla extract, alcohol and water, or the same with glycerine replacing the alcohol (although beware - the glycerine variety tastes horrid). Adulterated vanilla extract with illegal sugars [or corn syrup] are not permitted, of course. Most supermarkets and even specialty shops carry vanilla extract with sugar or corn syrup added."

A fold is the relative measure of strength of vanilla extract. Single fold vanilla is typically what the consumer buys at the market. For food processing, two, three or four fold vanillas are typically used. A single fold vanilla contains the extractive matter of 13.35 ounces of vanilla beans, containing less than 25% moisture, in one gallon of 35% aqueous ethyl alcohol. Two fold uses 26.7 ounces of vanilla beans, contains twice as much extractive matter and is twice as strong.

Formulate to match our extract in flavor, strength and usage, it is the consistency of between a syrup and molasses which holds hundreds of vanilla bean seeds in suspension giving products that physical gourmet appearance.

All of the herbs we use at True Botanica are of the highest quality and are chosen based on the most appropriate form for each product. Whenever possible we try to use organic or even better biodynamic plant material that comes from US farmers. For our herbal tinctures, the vast majority are biodynamically and organically grown by local farmers (see question below) and are then prepared via our proprietary Pentas™ process.

Many Hybrid Musks and some Albas can tolerate partial shade. A few other varieties including the Floribunda "Gruss An Aachen" can be planted in partial shade. Some other roses that may grow in partial shade are the Rugosas, Iceberg(FB), Zephirine Drouhin (Bourbon), Souvenir du Docteur Jamain(HP) and Madame Plantier.

Studies done on organic foods vs. commercially grown foods have shown that the organic produce has an average of 3 times more nutrients than commercially grown. Organic foods aren't grown with the pesticides, chemicals, growth stimulants and bioengineering, all of which are very bad for your body. Many organic foods just plain taste better and have more flavor as well. But, prices can be much higher for organic. If you have the means, definitely eat as much organically grown as you can.

I would hope you would choose drought tolerant vegetation for the bulk of your landscape to help conserve water. If you have to have grass I'd keep it to a bare minimum. But each garden is going to be different as are the gardener's likes and dislikes. If you really don't have any idea of what you should grow in your landscape I'd consider hiring a landscape architect. Tell them what you're looking for in a garden and ask them to suggest plants that use little water.

We can make some cakes with side-by-side flavors (half a layer white and half a layer chocolate) or alternated layers (first layer white, second layer marble).

A 'vanilla' implementation is one which minimizes changes made to the delivered software. This approach reduces expense, both in the initial implementation and in future upgrades. The term 'vanilla' causes some concern among many individuals, faculty as well as administrative users. What is sometimes overlooked is the 'table driven' design of the PeopleSoft system that supports hundreds of design considerations without a single software modification.

Vanilla CTF was one of the first and most popular versions of Quake2 CTF created before id's official CTF came out. It has retained a bit of a following for a while, due to its CTF support for all the original Quake2 levels and no client-side download, and has recently been updated to v0.70. It was developed by James Abbatiello. (You can check out the programming credits in his readme.txt file as well.)

Joining a Vanilla CTF game is exactly the same as joining a normal Quake2 multiplayer game. Just start Quake2, go to the Multiplayer menu and select Join Network Server. (Check the Quake2 manual for further info on this if you need to.) In addition, if you use GameSpy3D, there is a special tab available that will allow you to search for servers running Vanilla CTF on the Internet.

But the basic idea of a Placement is that it is not paid. If you are planning to do a Vanilla Placement you must budget for not being paid. When you are doing an interview for a Vanilla Placement you must not try to negotiate a payment! In fact - if you do try, and the interview fails because you have mentioned money we shall not do anything more for you.

Vanilla is the only fruit-bearing member of the orchid family. In all growing areas except Tahiti it is Vanilla Planifolia Andrews. In Tahiti it is Vanilla Tahitensis Moore.

Formulate to match our extract in strength and usage, it is good as a topping and for color or for liquid sensitive products.

Vanilla implementation" means that we intend to install and implement the Banner system as delivered by the vendor, Sungard SCT. No modifications will be made to the delivered system other than configuring the core Sungard SCT system with UNM specific data and values.
