You will need a standard home computer for the development. The computer must have a 1GHz CPU or higher, 512MB RAM or higher and 500MB free disk space. Your computer must run either Linux or Windows although Mac and other computer may also work out. For some projects, you may need a specific operating system. You will need the Java compiler from Sun and Ant from Apache. Some projects may need other tools to be installed as well.

The only thing you need to view the majority this site is a computer and an internet connection. In order to view the television clips, you will need a broadband connection.
