Due to advances in disease prevention and treatment, life expectancy in the United States has increased to the early 80s for women and mid 70s for men. One of the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease is disorientation. But it may not be just memory loss that's causing the problem. With new treatment it's more important than ever that you recognize early symptoms and get help as soon as possible. In the fight against Alzheimer's Disease, researchers are now looking at drugs that help the body heal itself. There's no cure for Alzheimer's, but an experimental new drug shows promise of stopping the disease in its tracks.
