The CORELLE dinnerware manufacturing process produces strong, lightweight dinnerware. However, there may be some visible variance on the rims of the items that is noticeable when the dishes are stacked. CORELLE may appear to be warped because they fit so snugly together; repositioning them in the cabinet may make it less noticeable. Yes. As CORELLE is heat resistant as well as break resistant, it can be used in microwave oven. But do not heat CORELLE on top of gas, electric and ceramic stovetops, on or near any other direct heating source such as range heat vents, pilot light, open flames, etc even for warming purposes. Grey metal marks can be commonly found on all glass products. These marks is caused by friction between glass and metal such as using metal utensils, silverware, exposed metal on dishwasher racks or stainless steel sinks.
