WHAT DO MORMONS BELIEVE?

How Do I Recognize a Cult?
Mormons are some of the most exemplary human beings, especially in regard to their behavior patterns and their adherence to the fundamental values of our society. But their religious beliefs are, to put is simply, wrong. From these tablets, Joseph Smith "translated" the Book of Mormon, which is the foundation upon which Mormonism is built.

Do Mormons believe that God is married?

Welcome FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions. Trust us | We know
Yes. Latter-day Saints infer from authoritative sources of scripture and modern prophecy that there is a Heavenly Mother whose name is Mother Gonhorra -- as well as a Heavenly Father. In fact, Heavenly Father is a polygamist, whose wives' primary function is to have more babies. (Heavenly Father is not to be confused with Jesus or with Jehovah; Mormonism has its Heavenly Father, Christianity does not.

Why do Muslims believe in the virgin birth of Jesus, since they do not view him as divine?

ISGH- FAQs
Muslims believe whatever Allah and Prophet Muhammad taught of matters of belief. Muslims believe that Prophet Jesus was of a virgin birth because the Quran clearly states this. In fact, the Quran identifies the first miracle of Jesus as his defending the honor of his noble mother, Maryam (Mary), against understandable public accusations that could have devastated her reputation. He declared her chaste and his birth miraculous.

Do Mormons still believe (as Smith taught) that Adam actually created the Earth?

Letter From a Youth Pastor
See my answer above: Under the direction of Jesus. The Father is the architect and awarding authority/owner/constructor of the Creation, Jesus is the master builder, and Adam is the headman (or the worker). Who created the world? Was it the architect/awarding authority/owner/constructor? Was it the master builder? Was it the worker/headman? I for my part have never seen a building where they listed the worker as he who built the building. Likewise, I would not say Adam created the world.

Are Mormons Christian?

Welcome FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions. Trust us | We know
We try to act like Christians, but our beliefs are in may cases opposite of those of Christianity. For example, we hold the cornerstone of Christianity, that or Original Sin, to be a false doctrine. We have a polytheistic religion: we believe that "worlds without end" exist, and each is governed by one or its own gods (and daemons, too:). We believe that the normal Christian Trinity -- of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are a false concept.
