What does 'Region Free' mean ?

Ordering Information for the St?phane Grappelli and Julian B...
All DVD's can be 'coded' into geographical regions - of which there are 8. This can result in DVD's for region 1 (i.e. the USA) not playing in UK players and DVD's for region 2 (i.e. the UK) not playing in USA players. This can be very frustrating. To avoid this Music on Earth make only 'region free' (or Region '0') encoded DVD's which we hope will be enjoyed world-wide.

What does the new stormwater utility fee mean for Minneapolis utility bill payers?

The City of Minneapolis Stormwater Utility Fee
Before March 2005, stormwater fees were included in sewer fees. Sewer fees were based on the amount of running water used from sinks, showers, toilets, sprinklers, etc. This did not accurately account for stormwater. This new system divides the sewer/stormwater fee into two separate fees (sewer and stormwater). The sewer portion is reduced to reflect only the amount of sewer services (running water) used, while the stormwater charge is calculated separately.

What does region encoding mean for your DVDs? Will they work on my player?

FAQ
Unless otherwise stated in the item description, all of our DVD's are encoded for play in at least Region 1 (sometimes 2 & 4 also), which is the North American DVD region. We do have a few Japanese import DVD's that are encoded for Region 2, which is Japan and Europe. Also, all of our DVD's are NTSC video format, as opposed to PAL format commonly used in Europe. If you are in the US, all of our DVD's will work just fine in your DVD player except for those few imports that are region 2.

If you are shown a screen stating that there has been a Region Error when you try to load your DVD disc, this means that the disc you are attempting to play contains a Region Code which is different to that of your DVD player (also meaning that your DVD player is not Multi-Region compatible) and so the disc will not run on this machine. You should never see this error when playing Region 0 discs.

Does my net access have to be wireless?

Frequently Asked Questions
Not necessarily, but our user studies have found that without wireless connectivity, there was considerable "commode congestion" in an average 2.5-person household whose one bathroom typically can provide a comfortable workspace for just one user at a time. We therefore strongly recommend using the wireless connection to alleviate potential multi-user congestion and encourage widespread "couch computing."
