A Certificate Program is designed for the person who wants concentrated instruction in a specific area of dental laboratory. It differs from the Associates Degree which has a broader background.

You will be notified that you've been selected by email or by telephone. You will be told about the program that is available and you'll be given instructions as to where and when to pick up the new vehicle which will display an attractive advertisement. You are free to decline an offer, for any reason, and wait for a more attractive offer, if you wish.

When you apply for admission to the Community College of Rhode Island, you will be asked in Question 4 to select a desired program of study (Major). If the major that you request is unavailable, you will be placed into General Studies. Instructions on how to change your major detailed below.

Hostels upload their own availability. If it is within a month or two of your arrival and there is no availability, chances are the rooms are booked. Conversely, if you are trying to book 6 months out, the hostel may not have yet uploaded their inventory. In this case, keep searching or check again on a later date.

Yes. You will have to apply for admission to the University as an undergraduate student. Check with KSU admissions for current admission procedures, and pay careful attention to the deadlines for having your paperwork in to their office.

In general we recommend that all students apply to the Master's program. If you subsequently find that you cannot or do not wish to complete the entire degree you can always choose to get the Certificate instead (provided that you have completed at least three seminars with a grade of "B" or better.

Complete the non-degree and certificate application. Non-degree students may enroll in no more than 36 credits at the undergraduate level or seven credits at the graduate level. You must submit official college transcripts in order to confirm prerequisites for courses.

Although exceptions may be made, the Certificate Degree Program is only for students who have completed at least 64 college credits. Students in the Certificate program must complete 30 credits of paralegal studies. See Program Requirements page. Those courses can be completed in as few as two semesters but must be completed within three years. The Associates Degree Program is for students who have not completed at least 64 college credits.

The amount of time it takes to complete an associate degree at WVC varies by individual need. During this time, you are completing general education requirements, major requirements, and any prerequisite courses you might need. Most of our certificate programs (and they do vary widely in the number of units required) typically take two or more semesters to complete. WVC encourages students to attend both part-time and full-time (12 or more units) as they pursue their personal and academic goals.

On completion of the degree requirements contained in the 2007-2008 Course Catalog or the 2008-2009 Course Catalog, the student will be eligible to apply to take the state licensure examination leading to practice as a registered nurse.

The program requires 43 semester hours including course work, a practicum in the field of aging, and a critical inquiry paper based on student interest. For full-time students, the MGS degree requires two academic years of study including the summer practicum.

The Associate Degree Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant and Radiologic Technology are two year associate degree programs; the Dental Assisting and Practical Nursing are one year certificate programs. The Dental Hygiene is a three year associate degree program. The Dental Assisting program can also be done as an associate degree program at the student's option with the student taking the general education courses necessary to obtain the associate degree.

Most courses in the Certificate program cannot be applied towards requirements for an undergraduate food science degree at the University of Guelph due to the laboratory requirements of the undergraduate curriculum. However, the Principles of Food Science course (FOOD*2010) can be applied towards the degree. Students planning to pursue undergraduate degrees at another university are advised to contact the food science program advisor at that institution since program requirements may vary.

The program can be completed in five (5) quarters to earn a Certificate of Achievement, if the student takes 15 credits per quarter. Five quarters is ideal, but students can take longer if needed. An Associate of Applied Science Degree in Allied Health Services can be attained with additional specific General Education Courses.

A certificate program is usually one year long (full-time) and enables you to enter your field of employment. An Associate's Degree is two years (full-time) and is a full college degree that is required for some career areas. The CNM catalogue explains the difference in full detail.
