Yes, if you choose to tryout for the Orange Squad and are not chosen, you can then request for consideration for the White Squad. It is still highly recommended that you attend the each of the separate tryouts should you choose to do so. Orange squad tryouts will be held before white squad tryouts.

Experience has shown that closing tryouts to parents tends to relax the players and provides a less stressful tryout environment. Not having mom or dad looking over their shoulder allows players to focus on "playing" and not on their parent's reactions to the child's play or to a parent's well-intended but distracting "coaching" from the sideline. Any questions regarding this policy should be addressed to a club board member.

A Sessioned event means that the day will be structured into usually 3 separate groups of cars which take it in turns to go out on track for 20 minutes at a time. Each car and all its drivers will be restricted to their group for the duration of the day (except when under instruction where the car may be allowed on track in additional sessions). Drivers are allocated the group depending on their experience level and type of car. The aim is to keep fast and slower cars separate.
