With a fresh battery the range is up to 100 yards. We recommend keeping the cart within 50-60 yards.The remote control battery should be changed after approximately twenty rounds of golf. We suggest carrying a spare battery.

If you download the 'Batch file to turn on the MediaMVP user interface on your PC', located here in the MediaMVP support page, you will be able to control the MediaMVP from the host PC without using the remote. I just installed a Hobbico Power Panel. The jack for the starter says, "start/external charger." Can I charge the battery in the flight box through these jacks? It sure would be nice not to have to remove the battery when I need a charger.

The Music Player does not provide any IR inputs. However, it is possible to provide IR control of a Music Player indirectly through an external control system such as those offered by Crestron or AMX.

The transmission range is too short because the carrier signal power level is too low. This can be remedied by reducing the value of the resistor between VDD and the transmitter IR LED. The value of resistor is normally between 1 and 2 ohms. The PA port on the HT48XA0-2 and HT48XA0-1 devices is the most simple port and is an NMOS type output or Schmitt Trigger input. When used as an input it is important to note that before reading the port the output should be set to a "1".

Aim the RM-1 Remote Control at the Remote Control Receiver and press the [W] button on the RM-1 to open the shutter. The shutter will not be released if the subject is not in focus. All selection and level is done either on the front panel or at the remote; never both locations. Connecting just a VR 1 to the CP 64 or 52 remote control terminals will allow level adjustment. However without a source selector the unit will default to source one. If the PRIORITY / L4 INPUT automatic switching is enabled, then the unit will select the L4 signal when present and L1 at any other time.

To connect from a Windows OS client to a Macintosh client, use VNC. The Apple Remote Desktop client has a built-in VNC client. Check in the Sharing Preferences pane in System Preferences.

Infrared remotes generally have a range of around 16 feet. This range is straight line to the projector. You can bounce the signal off of a screen to the projector but keep in mind the full distance that the signal travels must be less than 16 feet. This distance can be shortened by any number of things, including fluorescent lighting, sun spots, etc.
