The first step is to determine how much lumber you’ll dry in a year. Then figure your average drying time for each of the species you’ll be drying, and you can calculate the size kiln you need from there. For example: you need to dry 500,000 board feet of oak per year. Fresh off the saw, oak takes about 28-30 days to dry, so you’ll be able to do 12 loads in a year. Each load will need to be 42,000 board feet to give you the 500,000 board feet you need for the year.

The input and output terminals on the selector will accept speaker wire sizes up to 12 gauge. The minimum recommended size for speaker wire is 16 gauge. In-wall wiring should be CL-3 rated.

The Axiom line of loudspeakers contains a selection of specialized surround speakers called 'Quadpolar'. To purchase the correct size weight distributing hitch (WDH), you will need to first load the trailer as you would tow it down the road and then have the tongue weighed. In order to hear the instructor during the online training session, you will need a speaker phone with a headset. The online training sessions utilize the Internet (to see the presentations live in your web browser) and the telephone to listen and speak to the instructor and other participants. You will need a speaker phone if you are having other staff in your shop participating in the session so they can hear as well.

The smallest size we carry is 6 5/8. The largest size is 8. We will always carry core products in full size runs -- 6 5/8 through 8. Unfortunately, our vendors do not always make "Limited Edition" styles in full size runs, so they may be unavailable in smaller and/or larger sizes. We now use a universal polished aluminum mounting clamp that will fit towers from 1 7/8"- 2.5" in diameter using the supplied rubber liners. Additional rubber strips can be used for towers smaller than 1 7/8". Our customers have also used PVC piping cut in half and installed around the tower to make the tower mounting diameter larger in order for the clamps to fit properly.

Yes, using instrument cables for connecting speakers is not recommended. Very high currents pass along speaker cables, so you need much thicker wire to handle it. Guitar lead conductors are very thin and such use could result in damage to your cables. Power reaching the speakers may be reduced as well. Without a doubt, Neutrik connectors are the best in the business. Nearly all the pros and top studios insist on them because they are so rubust.

We recommend a speaker cabinet is connected to Marshall Amplifiers at all times. Failure to do this can and will cause damage to your amplifier. The vent on the top of your unit is part of the ventilation to keep the valves running at the correct temperature; the top and back grill must have a good air flow at all times as is if it is restricted this can and will cause damage.

That is a good question. Let's be clear. Not everyone needs speakers or subwoofers as good as SVS makes. But heck, not everyone "needs" a home theater or music room either. If you and your "significant other" are content watching movies at low level, or you primarily watch VHS tape or cable TV via built in speakers, one of our subwoofers or speaker packages might be “more” than you need or want.

It is recommended that you try to book your speaker at least 90 days in advance. If possible, it would help to have an alternative date for your meeting.

Speakers can be booked at any time depending on availability. We recommend that you book six months to one year in advance in order to secure the speaker and date of choice.
