Depending on the features and services that use, DynSite uses one or many of the ports listed below. They all are TCP-only ports and they must be opened for outbound traffic. If you have a firewall, you have to open at least ports 80 and any others that you use from this list. You don't have to open port 10980 for example if you don't use the Staticky service, etc. If you rely on automatic IP address detection, you also need to open TCP ports 8245 and 7777.

iroffer makes outgoing TCP connections to irc servers. Typically this is on port 6667 but this can be configured differently in the iroffer configuration file. iroffer will also make outgoing TCP connections for users who upload files or request a DCC chat. The main port used by P2P-Radio is the port 2000 (UDP & TCP). This port must be accessible from the Internet. The port 2001 (TCP) is used for communicating with your media player. For each NJS you need two additional ports, one for the NJS listening for the Gateway and one for administration purposes. Very basically, if you have a low ID, it means that computers can't connect directly to you from the internet, and that your machine needs to initiate all connections outward. Some ISP's throttle bandwidth on these ports, and some trackers have banned them because of that. So choose a port of your own between 20,000 and 60,000. In order to change the port all you need to do is choose a port number that is not black listed and enter it in your router. Now open them up in your router or firewall as covered above, and then change the settings in your client to reflect the new ports being used.
