While you technically can use MS Word as your text editor I really suggest that you don't. Use Notepad instead. Word tries to write HTML for you and will make a mess of your document. I don't recommend it until you are more familiar with using HTML code and tags and can recognize what is supposed to be there and what MS Word has coded in for you. If you are getting 'Session Timed Out' errors each time that you try to log in, you are not allowing 'cookies' on your computer. Cookies are how the student email system maintains your login information and you need to allow them in order for your student email session to work.
