McCormick Place has 2 parking garages, one located nearby the South Building and one located in Lakeside Center. The current charge is $16 per day regardless of the length of stay. Houston Residential Permit Parking Ordinance is intended to enhance the quality of life in neighborhoods experiencing chronic non-resident parking along their streets. Yes there is a parking lot on the campus adjacent to the Orthopaedic Medical Center Urgent Care and the Orthopaedic Hospital Outpatient Medical Center. The daily parking fee is $3.00 per car for patients coming to the Urgent Care Center, Children's Clinics, Cleft Palate Treatment Center, Hemophilia Treatment Center or private physician offices. - Top

The Parking Center is located about a block from the campus gates. Although it is on the other side of the freeway, it really is a short walk or a quick shuttle ride from the campus. During the school year, many of your peers will be taking the same shuttle to and from campus.

Inguinal hernias are usually repaired with a small open incision directly over the hernia bulging mass using a Non-tension technique. Dr. Garza prefers the Prolene® Hernia System on Inguinal hernias. Epigastric, Ventral, Incisional or Recurrent Hernias are usually best repaired with a Laparoscope in which a small camera is inserted and the hernia patch is applied from the inside with a Non-tension technique.
