Foil balloons will remain buoyant for about 2 weeks. They stay firm for the first 2-3 days and after may need slight re-inflation for firmness (not buoyancy), which can be done carefully with a straw and air.

Latex balloons have a limited life of about 18-24 hours for 11-12" pearlshine (metallic) balloons, so inflation should be done as close to the event time as possible. We are able to supply a product which can increase the float life of a helium inflated latex balloon.

When filled with helium a latex (rubber) balloon will usually last about 12 hours and then start to deflate. A foil (Mylar) balloon will usually last about 2 weeks and then start to deflate.

When filled with helium, a latex balloon will usually last twelve hours and then start to deflate. A microfoil balloon will usually last 4 to 5 days before it starts to deflate - very slowly.

It depends on a couple of things, the size of the balloons and the tank size. Temperature and tank pressures are also factors. The chart below will give you an approximate number of balloons based on these factors. The chart assumes that the tank is full and that you're not over-inflating the balloons. Note: You won't get 125 balloons if the tank is half full and the 9'' balloons you've bought are inflated to twice that size.

Helium is available to buy in disposable cylinders many of which supply 9" balloons in the pack. Helium is also available to hire from your nearest party store in different sizes to suit your needs. You will need to return this when finished.

We do not have a minimum order. You may order as little or as many as you want. You may pick it up or we will send to you at a minimum charge.

The INNER balloon should be inflated like a shaped foil balloon. The OUTER balloon should always be inflated 100% completely wrinkle-free like a beach ball. The sides should be as smooth as the front of the balloon. When you order either latex or foil balloons, you will receive them uninflated unless otherwise stated. As much as we would like to send you the balloons already filled with air, doing so would only result in burst balloons at your doorstep.

No. The balloons are shipped uninflated. When your balloons are delivered you choose to inflate them with helium or air.

It really depends on usage, but in general we suggest that you replace the blade assembly and foil about once a year. If you use your Cleancut a lot and you begin to notice a drop in its performance then that's when you should replace them. See the next question below!

Certainly. Bubble Box makes use of the industry's best suppliers and can therefore create arrangements using both latex and foil balloons. (Both come in an incredible array of shapes, sizes, colours and patterns.)

Depending on the care given, a balloon envelope may last 500 or more flying hours. Considering that most balloon pilots only fly 35-75 hours per year, most balloons will last a long time. The gondola will last much longer, perhaps thousands of flight hours with proper care.

No. The helium filled latex balloon is contained inside a sealed helium environment (the Sparklet). Helium inflated balloons in a helium environment will last as long as air filled balloons last in an air environment. Generally round latex balloons last as long as the Sparklet lasts (3 - 5 weeks). Hearts last for 3 weeks (inflate them nice and full to get a full "heart" shape). 350's last for 2 weeks and 260's last for 1 week.
