This error comes from InstallShield which we use to package our product. This message may appear when other applications are running while you are installing Telnet Magic. You must close all other applications prior to installing Telnet Magic. Close all other applications and try the install again. When a fatal error occurs, an error report is automatically sent to CheckUp Customer Support. (This feature can be disabled by changing the Send Error Reports setting on the Settings screen.) You are using an incorrect banner code - the correct code can be found on the Revenue FAQ page. The CGI-BIN and 'planet' servers use different code.

This is caused by old readonly files in the temporary folder where the selfextracting archive is unpacked. The solution is to use WinZip to open the installation file (SokoXXX.exe). Extract all files into a temporary folder. Start the Setup.exe file in that folder. After installation the temporary folder can be deleted.
