If your parents are denied, you may be eligible for additional funds through the Unsubsidized Stafford Loan Program.

If you apply for a Federal PLUS Loan, we will check your application for credit worthiness while you apply. In most cases by the time you reach the end of your application, we will be able to tell you if your loan has been approved or if an endorser is required. If your loan is approved, you will be given the option to e-sign at the end of the application process.

If at all possible, we will work with you to create a financial solution that meets your specific requirements. Sometimes, starting with a greater down payment, shortening the term, cross collateralizing or obtaining a cross corporate loan guaranty may enable us to approve an otherwise credit impaired situation.

Just because you did not get a loan from one financial institution doesn't mean you can't get one somewhere else. It's hard to accept that you are denied a loan. But you need to get it in writing that you are denied a loan by the lenders and the reasons for having rejected your loan application.

Federal PLUS loans enable parents or legal guardians with good credit histories to borrow to pay the educational expenses of each child who is a dependent undergraduate. The student must be enrolled in school at least half-time. Again, to be eligible for a PLUS loan, a parent must possess a good credit history.

The FOIA Officer is required to notify you of the reasons your request has been denied in whole or in part. The FOIA Officer will also include an explanation of the Commission’s appeal process. You will be refunded any portion of the loan processing deposit paid for expenses not yet incurred in processing your application.

Denying a member's loan application is something that we don't readily do. In most cases we will try to work with the member to make a loan happen. But circumstances can dictate that may cause us to reject a loan application. In these cases an adverse action form is processed and sent to the member so that the member understands why the action was taken.

The participant must resume loan repayments when the military service ends with the payment frequency and amount at least equal to the pre-military schedule. The rehired veteran must repay the full loan amount (including interest accrued during the military service period) by the end of the maximum term for the original loan plus the military service period. If your parent is denied a Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS), this then qualifies you for additional Stafford Loan funds. As a freshman and a sophomore, you can be considered for up to an additional $6,000 in Unsubsidized Stafford Loans. As a junior and senior, you can be considered for up to $7,000 in additional funds. There is a 60-day period during which you may appeal to the Appeals Council in Arlington, Virginia. If the Council denies your claim or refuses to remand it for a new hearing, we will have 60 days to file a federal district court appeal. Our firm will not appeal to the federal district court without meeting you to discuss the possible appeal. The federal court has different rules and filing fees.

If you are denied the visa please contact Pan Atlantic and we will discuss the circumstances with you. It is possible for a candidate to reapply after a denial, and in most cases Pan Atlantic will write a letter of support for your reapplication. Some trainees who are denied the first time are approved the second time, so it is often worth a try, particularly if relevant additional supporting information can be shown.

If you are denied certification, you will be informed of the reason for denial and provided an opportunity to appeal. Should your appeal be denied, you may re-apply for certification in 90 days.
