Yes. We mainly use PCs, but we support most cross-platform graphics files. If your document contains text, please make sure you convert your fonts to vector paths or export them in a vectorized Postscript (.eps and .ps), or Adobe Acrobat® (.pdf) formats.

Aries' Apple file sharing service allows your Aries to act as a AppleTalk router for Apple Macintosh computers. You can even share the same files between Windows and Macintosh machines, if you enable both file sharing and AppleTalk service at the same time.

LogicWorks files saved using Version 3.0 and later are directly compatible across both platforms. Due to differences in fonts and graphics storage mechanisms, you may get some differences in display on the two systems, but general circuit structure will remain intact.

All of our computers are PCs; we do not own any Mac computers. If your disk or CD has been formatted in a Mac computer, you will not be able to use it on our computers. Some word processing files created on Word for Mac can be opened in Microsoft Word by going to the File menu, selecting Open, and choosing "Word for Macintosh" from the Files of Type menu on the Open dialog box.

Apple offers no definition of the nonlinearity - or loosely speaking, gamma - that is intrinsic in QuickDraw. But the combination of a default QuickDraw lookup table and a standard monitor causes luminance to represent the 1.8-power of the R, G, and B values presented to QuickDraw. It is wrongly believed that Macintosh computers use monitors whose transfer function is different from the rest of the industry. The unconventional QuickDraw handling of nonlinearity is the root of this misconception.
