Many of our key events take place at the local community college in Petoskey, located at 1515 Howard Street. From US-131 or US-31 heading north: Upon arriving in Petoskey, continue on US-31 north through town. You'll pass the hospital (on your left) and then cross a bridge before turning right onto Mitchell Street into the downtown gaslight district of Petoskey. Head east on Mitchell for two blocks. Howard is the second stoplight on Mitchell. Turn right onto Howard.

The North Pole is in the middle of the Arctic Ocean. The Arctic Ocean is surrounded by Alaska, Canada, Greenland, and Russia. The ocean is 4000 meters deep. Although it is an ocean, it is water you can walk on. There are 2-3 meter thick ice floes floating on the water at the North Pole. In summer the temperatures are near 0 centigrade and there is light. In winter the temperature is about -30 centigrade and it is dark.

The Schooner Zodiac has 3 private cabins that have an upper and lower bunk with a sink and mirror for washing up. The Schooner Martha does not have private cabins. The M/V David B has queen size beds with a private bathroom. The Island Roamer, Island Odyssey and Snow Goose has accommodation for two people - some cabins with double bunks, most with two single bunks, often an upper and lower style.

Official copies of college transcripts are required to conduct a transfer evaluation. We will do a transfer evaluation as part of the admissions process. If you would like to know what credits we will accept prior to applying, feel free to send your transcripts to the Office of Admissions. Kindly attach a letter with your name and contact information, as well as what program you are interested in. A transfer evaluation will be mailed to you within two weeks.

Central Florida is a mix of warm breezes and sunshine. Our weather can go from hot and humid in the summers to near freezing temperatures in the winter. During the span of your program, you probably will experience both the warm and cool temperatures.
