Dynamic bandwidth allocation is the ability for a device to drop and add channels as needed. True dynamic bandwidth would allow a terminal adapter to allocate a second channel if the load on the first one becomes too heavy. Using dynamic bandwdith allocation is also helpful in reducing the number of hours used monthly overall. We recommend this to our 128k dual channel users to minimize their usage.

If you run out of space on your account, then parts of your website may continue to work. Note that you will not be able to send or receive email through your account and other functions that require space will no longer work. Bandwidth is allocated on a calendar month basis. If you use all of your bandwidth during the month then your website will quit working until the beginning of the next calendar month.

We offer 500 MB Transfer per month for every 10 MB Web Space. If you have 10 MB Web space, monthly transfer will be 500MB, for 20 MB Web Space 1 GB data transfer per month and so on...

We measure the size in bytes of the files you upload and download. We add your uploads and downloads together to calculate the amount of transfer you have done in your billing period. If you reach the limit of your account, you cannot upload or download files until the start of your next billing cycle. You can if you wish upgrade to the next plan, which will reset your measured bandwidth usage and give you an extra allowance.

All traffic sent to and from you website is counted in your monthly bandwidth. This means any web page views via HTTP, as well as file uploading and downloading via FTP are counted towards your monthly alloted bandwidth.

If you only just go over you alloted bandwidth we will normally let it go. However we reserve the right to charge £0.005 for every Mb you go over your limit. You can view your current usage information from within your control panel.

If you do go over the limit we contact you, but it is very unlikely you will exceed your limit, web pages are very small and because web browsers store local copies of graphics and other page elements you can have tens of thousands of page views per GB per month.

Disk Groups help you organize Dynamic Disks and help to prevent data loss. Windows 2000 allows only one Disk Group per computer (this may change). Disk Groups can organize storage when you use Veritas LDM-Pro. A Disk Group uses a name consisting of the computer name plus a suffix of Dg0. If you use LDM-Pro, the suffix can be incremental, such as Dg1 or Dg2. To view the name of your disk group, see the following registry entry:

Each level of service comes with a given amount of bandwidth. You may purchase more bandwidth for $5/mo for every 20G extra. You will be contacted if you go over your bandwidth limit, but you will not be charged automatically. If you are only a little over your quota, you will be able to buy bandwidth starting on the next month of service. You may then elect to buy the extra bandwidth, or try another option.

Bandwidth or Data Transfer is the amount of data moved between your site and the browsers of the customer's accessing your site. Our packages have very generous bandwidth quotas and we currently do not have any customers going over bandwidth quotas on our shared hosting servers.

Once you have created a 'product' (Room or Package) it will NOT display and CANNOT be sold until you tell the system how many you wish to sell. ie 'Allocate' quantities of rooms or packages to the system. Without Allocation nothing can be sold.
