A 1/4" plywood underlayment approved for use with sheet vinyl or adhesive-backed vinyl tiles should be installed with nails, staples or screws to the OvrX panels. Do not glue the plywood underlayment to OvrX panels. Do not glue adhesive-backed vinyl tiles directly to OvrX panels. Vinyl is simple to install. First make sure you have a reference point for placement of the graphic. Use a wax and grease remover to clean the area very well for proper adhesion. Place the graphic on the location to be installed and gently slide around until you have it in the proper location. Wall tiles (because they are not intended to be load bearing) are typically thinner, lighter and softer than floor tiles. Wall tile glazes are not designed to handle the abrasive forces from foot traffic. Solid 3/4" Hardwood flooring cannot be installed below grade (below the soil line) or over concrete. When a solid product encounters moisture it reacts very negatively. Therefore, a laminate or engineered flooring must be used. Laminate flooring is constructed by fusing 4-plys of material together to form a product with unprecedented strength and durability.
