When you are creating a waypoint on Freshmap Topo and Streets (right click, New, Point feature) you are able to choose which Garmin icon you want to allocate to that waypoint.

Waypoints are multiple commands given to the same unit (or group of units). The unit will complete these commands in the order in which they were given. The most common waypoint commands are used with scouting (mostly other starting positions in multiplayer). In the case of Magellan units with their own hard disk, data is exchanged between PC and GPS via the functions Import/Export. The Magellan driver software must be installed on the PC and the data transmission mode must be set on the GPS unit. When data is being uploaded/downloaded, the Garmin units must be set to GARMIN.
