In the box that pops up, choose the “Settings….” option. A settings window will appear. Next, click on the microphone icon down at the bottom of the window. Do you see it? It’s third over from the right, just after the folder. This is where you can click on and drag the “Record Volume” to a higher (or lower) level. As you lower the level, you’ll see the meter on the left drop to the green zone.

I would not be able to give exact values as there are many differences even between identical setups. Besides it is best to do the setups individually to give the most optimal settings. I can however give some pitch setting to go with for learning to hover. I have setup a lot of helicopters and for those just starting out I always setup 0 degrees blade pitch for bottom stick position, 5 degrees for the middle stick position, and 9 degrees for the top. First check all the wire connections at both ends of the mic cable. Next be sure to set the PAGING INPUT MIC/LINE switches correctly. Facing the rear panel, MIC position is to the left. Once you have the setting correct turn up --- clockwise --- the PAGING TRIM control and see if you can light the PAGING OVERLOAD indicator.
