Generally it is advisable to wait one or two years after the death of a spouse before entering the seminary. This provides opportunity for grieving, transition and preparing oneself to enter a new, celibate state of life.

Husbands, boyfriends, wives, girlfriends, family, and friends who listen to us talk Derby non-stop, volunteer their time or skills to help us put on our bouts, dry our tears, carry our gear, buy us beer, take our photos, and generally make us feel like they're our #1 fans.

Because of the success rate of freshman who live on a residential campus, all freshman (taken less than 30 college credit hours) under the age of 23 are required to live on campus. However, if the student's parents or legal guardian live within a 60 mile radius and the student plans to reside with them, the student is exempt. Yes, you can apply to either stay in your accommodation or a different hall or even move into halls from elsewhere. You should contact Accommodation Services in January and complete a returning student application form.

When a worker entitled to Social Security benefits dies, the surviving spouse, age 60 or older, may qualify for survivor benefits. A surviving spouse, age 50 or older, may qualify only if disabled.

A widower's/widow's pension is 50% of the pension the deceased insured person was receiving or would have received. However, no widower/widow shall receive less than $150.15 per month.

I live in southern Maine (USA), about 10 miles inland, from the Atlantic Ocean. I get a mix of coastal and inland storms, or as the meteorologist have started calling them ,"winter weather events". The Coastal storms have a tendency to include sleet and freezing rain and sometimes end as plain rain, making for a heavy snow pack. Other storms are of the inland variety and include deep snow with blowing and drifting. Our average winter snowfall is 71 inches.

You can have a home health nurse and physical therapist assist you at home for two or three weeks. You may also stay at a sub-acute facility following your hospital stay depending on your insurance.

All freshwomen, who are traditional-aged (17-19 years old) and who are attending college for the first time, live together in the freshwoman halls. Trained student staff, living learning communities and special programming are highlights of this experience. Freshwomen are assigned to rooms on a space-available basis.

First year students live in Cypress and Redwood Halls. Rooms are fully furnished, air- conditioned and are wired for networking to the University's main computer system and to the Internet. Each hall has common areas and facilities including lounges, study areas, kitchens and laundry rooms. Rooms are wired for phone and cable TV. Other services include: washer and dryers, snack and soda machines, recreational equipment (pool, ping- pong, large screen televisions, etc.

First-year students live in residence halls throughout the main campus among upper-class students. First-year students are grouped together with other first-year students in each of the halls so that friendships and community are developed. Transfer students will live with upper class students in Lawrence Hall or on the Cambridge Campus.
