U.S. citizens may obtain their visas upon entry at any point in Turkey or in advance from one of the five Turkish Consulates around the U.S. Please see the Jurisdiction List of the Turkish Consulates for your state. Application for a business visa must be done ahead of time, before entering Turkey. Visas given at entry points are valid only for three months.

Yes, in most cases you will have to obtain a student visa for your full-time studies in a foreign country before you leave Hong Kong. The host university will send you a pre-departure package that will include a letter of acceptance and other relevant documents. You should check the visa application instructions online and bring all necessary documents (including your passport) to relevant High Commission, Consulate or Embassy to apply for the student visa.

Normally yes, you need a visa in order to enter the Russian Federation. If you are the USA citizen, you certainly need one. You will need separate visas for other CIS countries, such as Ukraine or Belarus. We can send you the official invitation that you need in order to obtain a visa to Russia.
