The number of students admitted each semester is dependant on the availability of clinical placement. This may change each semester. Typically, we have enough space to admit 14 to 25 students each fall and spring.

Applications are not reviewed until all your transcripts, letters of recommendation, statement of purpose, application form, and test scores have been received. If you apply by the deadline, most decisions are made by March 15.

There are no specific criteria. The admissions committee will look at all of an applicant’s qualifications, including GPA, GRE scores, letters of recommendation, personal statement, previous research experience (if applicable), professional experience, volunteer experience, and other criteria. The way in which this information is weighted varies across programs, from year to year, and from admissions committee to admissions committee.

Yes, General education support courses should be taken prior to acceptance into the program if at all possible. Students may benefit by completing support courses prior to entering the program, as the time requirements of the program are considerable. The course schedule outlining both nursing and non-nursing courses is located in the TMCC 2007-2008 course catalog or the 2008-2009 Course Catalog.

You can register as a Non-Degree student if you have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Complete the Non-degree application admission. Nine credits can be transferred to a degree program.

A5. You need to complete a FGCU Graduate School application. On that form you will indicate that you want to major in Educational Leadership. You will also need to take one of two exams: the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Miller Analogy Test (MAT). The faculty in the Organization and Leadership and Policy Studies program area (OLPS) of the Department of Education Policy and Leadership (EDPL) make admissions decisions. You will be formally notified of this decision by letter.

The program admits students for fall (late August), spring (mid-January), and summer (mid-May) sessions.

If you wish to earn the certificate, you must complete the application forms. If you wish to take one or more courses without earning the certificate, you may register for any course without being accepted into the certificate program. The primary advantages for applying for the certificate as early as possible are to be placed on the Center's mailing list to receive newsletters and to be eligible for any Center awarded scholarships.

Our program caters to students 16 years of age and above, including college students and adult professionals. The Department Chairperson serves as an interim advisor to all students until they are advanced to candidacy and their proposed final project is approved. At that point, project advisors are appointed to help the students to carry out the project, and to stay on course toward program completion. All entering students are requested to meet with the Chair to plan an appropriate program of study.

The number of students admitted depends upon the number of qualified candidates who apply to the program. We expect to admit 25-30 students per year. There are no specific prerequisite courses required for admission. However, we do expect prospective students to have a strong foundation in a core disciplinary area, such as engineering, materials science, physics, or mathematics.

Applications are accepted for fall admission only. Applications are due early in January and the interview process is generally complete by March.

Students who have not been formally admitted to the program may register for courses only with permission from the faculty advisor.

Acceptance into the department of music is achieved through the entrance audition. There are minimum standards for acceptance on each instrument and voice. Students who meet these standards are accepted as enrollment capacity allows. Some students who nearly meet the standards may be accepted on probationary status. Applicants may be approved as a PreMBA student to enroll in up to three courses within a 12-month time frame before they are required to formally apply to the program.

Students will receive a letter from the NKU Admission Office welcoming them into the dual admission program.

Application for admission into the MISST program will be made to Graduate and Continuing Studies. Admissions decisions will be made by the Dean of Graduate and Continuing Studies upon recommendation of the MISST faculty. A person who enrolls in the program may drop out at the end of the first project without penalty. After that he/she is expected to commit to continuing the two-year cohort.
