All band scores are based on the candidate's performance on the test day using the same assessment criteria to ensure fairness. All IELTS examiners are fully trained and their performance is regularly monitored.

GRE scores are valid for five years from the date taken. TOEFL scores are valid for two years from the date taken.

GMAT scores are valid for five (5) years. If the date of your test is greater than five years from the date of your application, you will need to retake the GMAT.

If ETS still considers the score valid, we will accept it. TOEFL scores expire within two years of the test date, and must be valid on the expected date you will enter the program.

For good candidates who scored a minimum of 6.0 overall in the IELTS test, we may make you a conditional offer upon successful completion of both the Pre-sessional English language course and the Pre-MBA course. For candidates who scored a minimum of 6.5 overall in the IELTS test, we may make a conditional offer subject to successful completion of the Pre-MBA course. The Pre-sessional course is usually held in July/August and the Pre-MBA course in August/September.

Your TOEFL score is valid for only two years. In other words, two years after you take your TOEFL, your score will be deleted from the official TOEFL database, and TOEFL will not send you another report of your score. If you still have a copy of your original score, you can ask the university whether they will accept it, but most universities will not accept a copy from you; they require a score sent directly from TOEFL.

For foreign applications, we require a TOEFL score of 600. While your GRE score is important, we have no specific cut-off for GRE scores, and consider the GRE score to be just one part of your overall application. All applicants must submit a GRE score to be considered for fellowships or graduate teaching assistantships.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an international test of assessing the level of (British) English proficiency. The test originated from Australia but it is more popular with British Education system. Candidates can take this test at the British Council. Usually it is held twice a month. Global Choices helps its students for IELTS preparations. For this purpose, we have our own "IELTS Preparation Centre". For details, please contact the office.

The GRE is a departmental requirement so check with your department to see if the GRE is required, and if so, what their requirements are. Scores are reported for 5 years after taking the test. Specific information can be found at the GRE website. This will depend in part on the school. For many schools, your scores will be valid for five years. However for some, they will be valid for only three years. The medical schools count backward from the time you would matriculate into medical school to determine how old your scores are. So to determine if your scores are valid, determine when you would start medical school, and count back 3 or 5 years.

Your scores are valid as long as your level of English proficiency remains the same. Your proficiency can, however, improve or decline over time. For this reason, the more recent the score, the more likely it is to be a valid indication of your proficiency. ETS Europe recommends that a TOEIC? score be considered valid for up to 2 years.

The requirements for a minimum TOEFL or IELTS score are governed by the Oklahoma State Regents. Applicants for whom English is a second language are required to demonstrate an acceptable level of spoken English usually by submitting a TOEFL or IELTS score.

ETS will not report scores that are more than five years old, and the Graduate School does prefer that applicants submit scores no older than five years. However, domestic applicants who have taken the GRE and whose scores are more than five years old may submit photocopies of old scores and a letter requesting a waiver, along with their other application materials.

TOEFL scores are valid for two years. This validity period is set by ETS, the official group that administers the TOEFL test.

The GRE test date must be no more than 5 years old at the time of application, or ETS will not release them. The TOEFL/IELTS test date/s must be no more than 2 years old at the time of application.
