Every 15,000 miles or once a year. (Not changing the fuel filter on-time is a leading cause for electric fuel pump early failure)

Fuel filters are more important than ever to the proper functioning of your engine. Fuel injected cars are far less tolerant of gas problems than the older carbureted cars. If the filter plugs it can starve the engine for fuel. Also, a restricted filter will stress the electric fuel pump, leading to early failure. Generally, your fuel filter should be replaced once a year or at no more than 30,000 miles.

The manual states every 30k. The OEM part cost less then 15 bucks and is located under the driver's side door in the frame rail. There is one bolt that keeps the filter in the bracket. Also, to lessen gas spillage remove the gas cap, and you can pull the fuel pump fuse under the hood, start it up and run it until it dies (note this may cause a CEL, but by disconnecting the battery, recommended while removing the fuel filter, it will clear the codes).

It is located on the driver side front strut tower in the engine bay. It is a small silver or black cannister with several black fuel lines running into it.
Always follow the equipment or engine manufacturer's recommendation on change intervals. However, frequency of filter replacement is often determined by the level of contaminants in the fuel. Combinations of high asphaltene concentration, water, sludge, bacterial growth, etc., in diesel fuel can prematurely plug a fuel filter and render a fuel/water separator ineffective. Filter change intervals should be based on knowledge of the fuel quality being filtered.
There is a relationship between air filter restriction and mileage. The theory behind this is simple, the harder an engine has to work to suck air through the intake tubes and air filter, the more gas gets wasted in the process. Replacing a dirty or clogged air filter is one of many recommendations the U.S. Department of Transportation suggests for improving fuel economy (see http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/FEG2007.pdf).

Answer: As with the previous answer it’s under the storage compartment floor behind a removable panel to the right of the fuel tank. Note this WARNING: Remember the fuel system is pressurised!! You must relieve the fuel pressure before removal. Always consult the Lotus Service Notes and follow the fuel pressure relief procedure. Question: Where is the ALDL connector and ECU? STEAM PRO lets you select the fuel from an extensive Fuel Library at the [Plant Criteria] topic. Select from a large number of fuels within the library or select to specify the fuel as a User-defined fuel. This generally occurs when the user has paid little attention to the design of the boiler. The resulting hardware model may have poor regulation of the reheat temperature at conditions other than the nominal full load.

Ans. We recommend that you check your filter each month when you pay your power bill. Some filters are designed to last 6 months and others will only last 1 month. A clean filter will allow the system to work much better than a dirty one.

Unscrew the neck and screw it onto the new filter. Make sure that the top and bottom necks go back onto the top and bottom and don't get switched. You're done.
Many people have experienced problems with fuel filters. There is not enough height of gas in the tank to get sufficient flow in many filters after the tank is less than half full. This causes the engine to stall unexpectedly, often while on the highway due to the increased fuel flow required while traveling at higher speed. Paper-type automotive filters are very prone to this problem since they are designed to be installed in an application with a fuel pump.
Aqua-Pure Water Filters : by CUNO, Incorporated
While usually dependent on the quality of your incoming water, most sediment filters should last between 6-12 months, or when you notice a pressure drop. This drop in pressure is a sign that your filter is becoming plugged. A chlorine taste and odor filter should last between 4-6 months, or when you notice a change in your water pressure.

All PARI compressors include a long lasting filter designed to last up to 500 hours of use. As a general rule, it is a good idea to replace your compressor filter when you replace your PARI Reusable Nebulizer. Blueair Frequently Asked Questions
In order to maintain the high performance level you expect from Blueair, we recommend filter replacement at a six month interval. Why so often? The amount and type of indoor air pollution can vary dramatically from environment to environment. Some manufacturers claim an exceptionally long filter life for their units--some as long as 5 years! At Blueair, we tell you how often filters need to be changed in the real world, not under best-case conditions in a laboratory setting.
Water Filters, Purifiers, and Purification FAQ
No. These are very poor methods of monitoring your water filter for maintenance. Once the bad tastes have returned, it is already far too late - contaminants have passed through the filter and into your drinking water. A carbon cartridge may be able to control taste and odors long after the carbon has lost its ability to effectively reduce other toxic contaminants. You should always follow the manufacturer's filter replacement schedule to ensure optimal filtration.
