Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and then turn it back on again. To reboot the phone, disconnect the cord supplying the electrical power to the phone and then plug it back in to the same port again a couple of seconds later. It is not yet possible to load a saved game from a running civserver. Instead you have to start it with the -f option, for example: civserver -f civgame1150.sav If the saveturns server variable is set, the server will attempt to save games in the directory you were in when you started it. We've found that the KDE Kicker (which provides the application menus and the task bar, as well as some of the desktop functionality) occasionally goes wonkey under the current installation of linux / KDE. First you need to check if your network card is discovered properly by the kernel. Run ifconfig -a and look for eth0 or wlan0 (in case of certain wireless network cards). You might need to load specific kernel modules for the kernel to properly detect the network card. When you want to continue filling out a form that you have previously saved in a file, use your browser's File/Open File command to read in the file. It will be displayed in your browser and all of the buttons (e.g. [Update Local Data], [File 398]) will work as before. When you open the file locally, it is looking at your computer for resources such as images and CSS, which are used to compose the page. To stop the server you must use the kill command for unix systems. Find the process id and then 'kill process_id'. To restart the server you may have to first remove the lock file that is in your svr/txns directory if the server did not shut down cleanly. Then start the server using the command above.
