While we do keep a good inventory of items in our retail store, it is impossible to predict who will order what. This means that in many cases, your order will have to be hand-forged by the blacksmith just for you! We quote lead times of 4 to 6 weeks because there are many steps involved in getting the product to you before and after its made. However, your order may actually be shipped earlier than our quoted lead times. We will always let you know when it ships.

The length of time to produce a branding iron depends upon the type of brand you require. On average, an Electric brand takes 3-4 days to produce, the same can be said for a Stainless Steel Fire brand. When ordering a Freeze brand, because of the process that they go through to be made they may take approximately 2-3 week to manufacture. If you need an iron on a certain date we will do are best to see that you needs are met.

Furniture generally takes so long to come in as it is all made to each individual order. Most cabinet furniture is made overseas so transport time has to be allowed for. Upholstery takes time as there are so many combinations of fabrics and styles to choose from so each piece is made from scratch and upholstered by hand.

Once a client has chosen their fabric, the actual amount of time required to upholster the furniture varies only on the number of pieces involved. A 2 or 3 piece suite usually only takes 5 to 10 business days. And if you need your furniture done for a special event, we can see to it that you have your furniture back in even less time.

Installation is carried out by our own team and takes on average 5-10 days. For kitchens, Granite and Corian worktops are then templated and installed about three weeks later.

We keep a rather extensive inventory at all times. In many instances, we can ship at once to get your order to your promptly. As the nation's largest retailer in authentic Windsor chairs, we keep a constant stream of stock coming in as well. Typical wait times on chairs and tables are 4 months if not in stock. More elaborate pieces such as Highboys, Secretaries and Clocks may take 6 months or longer to deliver.

Orders usually ship out and leave our warehouse within 2-4 days. Transit time to any destination in the US is 5-6 business days. If you have your furniture shipped to the address other than your billing address (address where you receive your credit card statements), the shipping address must be on file with your credit card company. Before we ship such orders, we will contact you and your bank on the phone to confirm your information.

We get hundreds of requests for finish samples for customers who would like to "touch and feel" before they make their purchase. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to mail out actual physical samples to all those who desire them. In many cases, our suppliers simply do not make samples, as the digital photography they use is very accurate.

Solid wood can mean one single board or plank of lumber having no additional wood glued to it. Very few pieces of furniture made today will utilize single boards. However, many antiques have single board tops and sides. Several wood boards glued together is also considered solid wood. Furniture makers have found that a board of this combination is less likely to warp or split than one single board.

Naturally red to reddish brown in appearance and can be returned to the original appearance after turning gray with a minimum effort.

Grain is present due to the nature of the wood these marks are not defects in the wood and are only natural.

Long term departmental requirements are to be considered first over individual needs. Standards are to be guided by functionality, durability, cost and individual requirements while being mindful of individual roles. Wood furniture is reserved for special needs and environments.

Superficial nicks and scratches that have cut into the finish film, or even cut all the way into the wood underneath, can be camouflaged with color treatment and waxing. Wax sticks in a variety of colors are available from the hardware store. Paste shoe polish applied with a cotton swab can be used to color the exposed wood. If the scratch is just on the top of the finish film and not very deep, a simple buffing with a furniture wax will restore the luster to the finish.

You can repair the split by using Epoxy Adhesive and clamping it together. The repair will be stronger than the original wood.

The majority of our furniture is made from Rubber Wood, Fruit Wood (known in many areas as "Malaysian Oak") Our furniture is comparable to items found in High End showrooms and galleries, but without the ridiculous prices.

Most orders take 4-6 weeks. As with all custom furniture, we can not provide our customers with an exact date, only an estimate. We will keep you informed if we are made aware of any delays in production (e.g. fabric is back ordered, etc.).

Our lead times vary with the piece and the time of year, generally running between 4 and 6 months. That amount of time is required because every piece we make is hand built to order by one of 4 craftsmen, one piece at a time. Good things come to those who wait!

Most orders are processed and delivered within 4-10 business days. Some items which are backordered by the manufacturer may take longer. Once an order is placed, we will go process the order and contact you within 3-5 business days to set up a delivery date, or to schedule your pickup of the item. Please call us before placing your order if you require a more accurate timeframe for delivery or need to check stock on any item.

When we receive your order at the factory, it is then placed into production. Each piece is carefully handcrafted to order. We start with furniture grade pine lumber and cut and mill each piece as if it were going into our own home. We then finish the furniture with a 13 step process to complete the ensemble. This complete process takes about a week and a half.
