Technically, there are 19 separate taxicab service Certificate holders. However, Gulf Coast Transportation dispatches United Cab, United Taxi, ABC Taxi and Tampa Bay Cab. Yellow Cab of Tampa dispatches Yellow Cab and Checker Cab. Additonal services include Tampa Taxi and County Cab, Addis Taxi, A-1 Taxi, AmeriCab, Executive Taxi, Dial a Ride, Cab Plus and Black Car, Oldsmar Taxi, AAA Affordable Taxi, Amercian Victory (Southeast Zone) and Suburban Taxi (Northwest Zone).

The California Cancer Registry (CCR) produces annual reports on statewide cancer incidence and mortality rates from 1988 through the most recent year for which data are complete . If you bring a customer to Hillsborough County and stay with the customer while they are here and then you return them to your county, you do not have to be licensed by the PTC. If you drop them off, leave and then come back at a later time or date, you must be licensed by the PTC. For example, if you bring someone to a football game, concert or restaurant and stay to return your customer, you do not have to be licensed.

Yes, the PTC sets the limit based upon a formula of 1 taxicab for every 1900 inhabitants. The number is currently set at 613 taxicabs. This number is adjusted each year based upon a census update. The theory of limiting the number is based upon the thought that there should be enough taxicabs to serve the public adequately but not so many as to cause the taxicab drivers to operate at a loss.

The Clerk's Office receives the initial paperwork from the Hillsborough County Jail after a felony arrest. The Felony Department prepares the official court file, including the original arrest document as well as any release form. This information is also forwarded to the Office of the State Attorney. The State Attorney then reviews the case and makes the determination to file or not file formal charges.

St. Joseph operates under a Council/Manager form of government first adopted when voters approved the City Charter on August 4, 1981. DRS is defining corrections department as any unit of local government that employs members who perform duties that meet the PSERS membership criteria. The employers must report these individuals appropriately. The employee may choose between continuing membership in PERS or becoming a member of PSERS and a dual member.
