Community Education tuition and registration information is available on-line. Community Education students are limited to a maximum of 8 credits per term and work completed does not satisfy UO residency requirements.

NCTC courses are open to any interested students who meet the pre-qualification standards set forth for each class. While college credit is available for many courses, most students are environmental or technical professionals who are looking for career enhancement training. NCTC does not offer degree programs. Graduate distance learners who are residents pay tuition at a rate of $90 per credit hour and nonresidents pay $560 per credit hour. Tuition shall be waived for federal, state and local government employees who work in the transportation or related areas. This includes, but is not limited to, transit system employees, metropolitan planning organization employees and staff of public universities who are involved in transportation or related areas (such as planning, public policy). This includes staff that is directly contracted by a unit of state or local government but is actually employed by a third party.

Internet Academy is financially supported through the Washington State K-12 funding. Within the state funding parameters, a student is considered full-time when taking five (5) courses. Students attending IA as their sole school may enroll in up to five (5) courses with no tuition fee charged. Students may be enrolled at IA and a building school with no tuition fee charged, as long as the combined number of courses between IA and a building school does not exceed five (5).

That is solely up to your employer. Upon the completion of a course you may request an "Employee Tuition Reimbursement Letter" from the online administrator. We will mail the letter directly to your employer. To request a letter, visit our student services section and fill out the request form.

Yes, adults 62 or older may obtain tuition waivers for credit courses at Connecticut public colleges and universities, providing space exists. Waivers do not cover costs for books or student fees. Generally they also do not apply to continuing education, noncredit and summer-term courses. Learning groups for retired persons also are popular. Adults, mostly over age 60, find these programs educational, challenging and fun.

Our courses qualify for most company tuition reimbursement programs. We currently provides a complete set of courses to help individuals prepare for many certifications including the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) certification, CompTIA's A+ Certification, Cisco CCNA Certification and others.

Tuition payments, along with After School Enrichment Program fees, are due the first of each month. Tuition is paid in 10 equal installments a year, with the first payment due on August 1st, and the last payment due on May 1st. There is a late fee of $10.00 assessed after the 10th of the month. Materials fees are due September 1 and February 1. There is a tuition box located in the front hall of the school for your payment.
