Do You Make a High Voltage AC Generator?

Colloidal Silver Frequently Asked Questions!
With over 40 years experience in custom HV equipment design and manufacture, I am smart enough not to waste my time on such a stupid approach to a process requiring 2 volts DC! The Arc (HV AC) process converts nitrogen in air into some nitrous compounds - no one in the "industry" has been able or willing to say what but silver nitrate is a likely result! There is a decided risk in comsumption of nitrates and thus the EPA limits them in drinking water to 10PPM.

Why is my generator outputting too high of voltage?

FAQs
Typically this indicates a problem with the regulator. Regulators are complex to troubleshoot, and we recommend replacing them or sending them back to Kato for repair. For repair or replacement parts, contact us at: Paralleling typically involves the governor, regulator, switchgear and other factors. As a general rule, if the problem is kW load sharing the issue is more likely with the governor. If the problem is with KVAR sharing, the issue is more likely with the regulator. Is it dangerous to accidentally touch a conductor which carries high voltage with the AC HotStick?

HotStick USA - Frequently Asked Questions
Touching wires which carry high voltage is always dangerous and should be avoided. If the AC HotStick is dry and clean it can withstand several thousands of Volts without causing an electrical shock. But the purpose of the AC HotStick is to keep you away at a safe distance. See similar questions...

Will they work with AC voltage?

DAV Electronics Frequently Asked Questions
Our LED's will work with AC voltage, however they will be substantially dimmer than they would be if using DC voltage. Using AC voltage is not recommended. See similar questions...

Is it powered by AC voltage?

Mosquito Repellent Products by The Mosquito Terminator!
The MT units are powered by a power supply/timer and the Power supply is powered by 110 AC which is then converted 12volts. The MT units must have 12volts at 36 watts. See similar questions...

Why would I want to purchase an AC voltage detector?

HotStick USA - Frequently Asked Questions
We can not see, hear, taste, or smell electricity and if we feel it, it is often too late. In many situations dangerous AC voltage may be present between fallen trees, on wire fences, in water puddles, even sometimes in wires which were considered as harmless telephone wires, guy wires and in areas which supposedly had the power disconnected. Why won't my generator build voltage?

FAQs
Determine if the problem is in the generator or regulator by separately exciting the exciter field. Do this by stopping the prime mover and disconnecting the regulator from the exciter stator. Connect the exciter field to a 12-Volt battery with the positive lead on EF1 and the negative lead on EF2. Start the prime mover. If the generator is functioning properly, the problem is in the regulator. See similar questions...

How do I reconfigure my generator to get a different voltage?

FAQs
You will need to reconnect the stator leads and regulator. For generators other than 12-wire KAMAG generators, please contact the Kato factory. Please have your serial number ready. See similar questions...

How can I make an attenuator so I can use a high output voltage microphone with PRAXIS?

Often Asked Qustions about Praxis
For high SPLs, the microphone sensitivity needs to be low. Even with 1mV/Pa, a 166dBSPL would be 4V output, too much for even most line inputs. This could be handled with an attenuator. The tradeoff is of course signal to noise. Ideally you would use different mics for different purposes, or at least different attenuators. attenuator for a microphone could be as simple as a series resistor. The AudPod's mic input has an impedance of 3.45K ohms. See similar questions...

What is High Voltage Security Fencing?

Frequently Asked Questions of a HIGH VOLTAGE SECURITY with E...
Answer: It is one or more bare conductors that is charged with approximately 10,000 volts that are mounted on insulators (ASAT-77)(LOC-41)(ASAT-70)(ASAT-72). This can be done over a cement wall, or make an inter-woven "chain-link" fence unclimbable, or design and constructed as a stand-alone fence. Please refer to our picture collection. What DC current and voltage will an AC rated switch handle?

Products - Switches - FAQs
The DC current "rule of thumb" holds that the highest amperage rating on the switch should perform satisfactorily up to 30 volts DC. For example, if you have an F Series toggle switch which is rated at 10A 250VAC, 15A 125-250VAC, the DC rating is 15A up to 30VDC. Yes. Carling Technologies offers high amp power switches up to 100 amps. These switches provide low cost, heavy duty capability with or without an auxiliary switch. See similar questions...

The higher the voltage, the more powerful the shock and the quicker the attacker is immobilized. The higher the voltage, the less time you have to contact the assailant to immobilize them. See similar questions...

Are lower voltage power lines (say 115 kV) safer than high voltage (345kV and above) lines?

a. The risks associated with electric fields directly correspond to a line's voltage. Therefore, the risks associated with electric fields increase in tandem with the line's voltage. b. The better documented risks associated with a line's magnetic field are associated with the current going through a line rather than its voltage. To deliver a given amount of power, utilities must push more current thorough low voltage lines than high voltage lines. See similar questions...

What is the audio signal voltage output and what is the advantage of high voltage output?

CarCPU ? - FAQ
High voltage audio output has become a great marketing point. However, one needs to look further than numbers to understand what the advantage and application is. With most common audio setups, the headunit supplies audio signal to the external amplifiers over RCA wires that may run over a long distance parallel to other wiring. The further wires have to run, the more signal degradation, as well as noise accumulation, will occur. See similar questions...

What components make up Test Generator?

Test Generator from Fain and Company :: SUPPORT : FAQ
TG has three major components: 1) Test Generator - the application used by test administrators/authors and instructors, 2) Tester - the test delivery application used by test takers (students, employees, trainees) and 3) the database that stores and displays tests and test data. Test Generator is a Windows-based application, and Tester can be a Windows- or web-based, test delivery tool. Test Generator's Desktop, LAN, and Enterprise solutions are Windows-based. Can I obtain high voltage outputs?

BNC | FAQ | Model 400/500/555 | Frequently Asked Questions (...
The standard pulses are delivered on the front panel. One may choose, on a per channel basis, to select high voltage or TTL/CMOS or the adjustable amplitude output. When one selects the high voltage mode with the output on the rear panel, the front panel output for that channel provides a TTL/CMOS pulse whose timing approximates that of the 35V pulse. The 35V pulse is now calibrated for the right timing. The 35V pulse has an adjustable pulse width up to 1 us. See similar questions...
