I use Paint Shop Pro. I edit the images, make layers, put effects on the images and whatever I'd like to add to the montages. I also use this program to edit my screen caps. I've been using Paint Shop Pro for a few years and have fell in love with it.

In version 4.0, you should keep all of your instruments and the samples that they use in a sub folder of MetaSynth's Instruments ƒ folder. All files -- including all preset libraries -- used by a montage should be in the folder that contains the montage or in a subfolder of that folder.
