Make sure the symbol line color is different from the symbol fill color. Open the symbol map properties, click the button in the symbol group, and then check the line and fill colors in the symbol properties dialog box.

Map scales are set automatically by CC3. The value is stored in the drawing. You can view and change the default set scale in the Drawing Properties dialog (File >> Drawing Properties). The recommended scale for overland maps is (map width/1000), so for a map that is 500 miles wide, symbol scale should be set to 0.5. The station circle represents the cloud cover; open circle means clear; and a completely covered circle means 100% cloud cover (or fog). The line extending outward from the station circle is called a wind barb and represents the wind flow; where the wind is blowing from the direction of the barb (north is towards the top of the map and east is towards the viewer's right). After a download has finished the "Download Report" dialog will appear. All symbols that are invalid will be displayed in this dialog. The problem usually is that =ESQSymbols(range,"title") isn't included in your spreadsheet or the <range> isn't including the new symbols you just added. Cell B4: in ESQExample2.xls shows this. It would be worth talking to your speech and language therapist, as they might be able to help with symbols for home. Some Health Boards have speech and language therapy assistant who are excellent at making symbol resources in BoardMaker. In order to delete a symbol from the symbol entry drop-down box, simply place your mouse over the symbol you would like to delete, the symbol in the drop-down should be highlighted in blue and then press the delete button on your keyboard. You cannot delete the active symbol in the component window. The easiest way to do this is to use the Character Map tool that was probably installed under the Accessory option of the start menu. If you don't have this tool you can use Word or some other tool that lets you type characters in various fonts. A5: Skins: As long as you have the model which the skin uses (eg. there's an Agent Smith skin which uses the Hitman model which is user-made, but most skins use the models that come with the game), the skin will work- this is true of both games. All the models which came with UT2003 also come with UT2004, so most UT2003 skins will work fine with UT2004. Skins for UT2004 models that were also in UT2003 will work fine in UT2003 too.
