Brown and grey are the most popular tint colours. Brown is the best colour overall because it allows the wearer the widest light spectrum through to the eye, while blocking blue light and offering optimum contrast. Brown is great for applications where distances need to be constantly judged, like tennis or golf or skiing or other sports requiring acute visual perception and contrast differentiation.

Tint density is defined as a percentage, where 0% is completely clear, and 100% permits no light to pass through (solid). Answer: -- A Barlow lens is a lens that you use with your eyepiece. A Barlow lens will double (2x Barlow) or even triple (3x Barlow) the magnification of any eyepiece that you attach to it. The Acoustic Lens has been voiced to work best with a flat response, full range system. The better the frequency response of the system, the better the Lens will sound. There are a number of "acoustic" amplifier combos on the market, some better than others. Better still is a system like a small PA system, with component mixer, amp and speakers. Colour selection is often an intangible but there are a few guidelines. Glows are designed to be visible in low light conditions or when fishing at great depths. If we think of the water column as a light filter the red end of the spectrum will reflect light as red only to about 30' in saltwater, and then as depth increases, red becomes black. We do not use plastic or polycarbonate lenses from results of extensive long term testing. They do offer great strength but will cloud overtime in salt water and can be very easily scratched diminishing the light output. It is impossible to polish the surface back to new, unless a flame is applied which should only be done by a plastics specialist. It is no longer a simple case of power.
